The University of Hull is committed to supporting enterprise development in the city and region and working with business support partners in the area, we can ensure that you get the right support at the right time.

Whether you wish to develop an existing business or are exploring a new idea for a product or service, the University of Hull has a range of expertise and facilities to assist you.  All enquiries are treated in confidence.

The University’s Knowledge Exchange is an office established to help you identify and unlock the range of funding and services available.

We can offer support in commerce, marketing, logistics, technology, sciences, arts and media, including:

    * Product design and prototyping
    * Free patent clinics
    * Access to specialist equipment
    * Business development funding
    * Enterprise courses - that also allow you to set up and run a business whilst studying for any subject
    * Courses to develop existing staff

The university also hosts the Hull and Humber Enterprise Network, a free forum where you can meet like minded people, network, share ideas, listen to talks, take part in workshops and enterprise events and much more.
New for 2008:
Incubation space in the new Enterprise Centre dedicated to supporting enterprise and business start up, for students, graduates and external businesses.  There will also be the opportunity to meet with business support agencies in the Enterprise Centre.
