Enterprise Network

Enterprise Network

The aims and purpose of the Enterprise Network
•    To add value to existing enterprise education initiatives
•    To support all sectors of education 5 to 19 to improve both the quality and quantity of enterprise education in England and to have a positive impact on learners.

The aim of the network is to build upon the previous phase and to expand and widen existing local networks relating to enterprise education with their aim being to support the 5 to 19 enterprise agenda from primary through to, and including, the FE phase.

The vision will be achieved by creating a sustainable network of 60 Enterprise Learning Partnerships (ELPs) across England based on the 150 LA areas. The ELPs will be made up of the schools and organisations within each LA area that wish to proactively support enterprise education. Each ELP will be given funding to support the enterprise journey 5 to 19 within their geographical sphere of influence, based on the number of primary, secondary and FE establishments within their locale.
