Barnstormers

barnstormers was set up in 2003 and provides a range of educational services to young people.

Our initial aim is to provide lively and engaging opportunities for young people and adults to explore current themes and issues using the medium of drama and theatre and we work alongside teachers in both the Primary and Secondary sectors in devising relevant workshops to enhance and support their curriculum needs. However, we increasingly offer confidence-building workshops which encourage group decision-making and the emerging understanding of ‘the team’ as a force for positive results in the business market-place. Activities include pair work, group work, games, simulations, role-play and the use of the voice.

We also offer a first-class service to conference organisers which includes both planning and facilitating on the day.
